The recipe for my Grandmother's Applesauce has been in our family for over 50 Years. The recipe was originally made by my Great Grandmother and passed down four generations.
I have many wonderful memories of sitting at my Great-Grandmother's kitchen table with my entire family. My Great grandfather showing me how to spread applesauce on toasted Italian bread - that was his breakfast for most of his adult life. This recipe was handed down to my grandmother, who served applesauce with almost all of her homemade dinners.
